"The 'extension' chair is a translation of how a chair is used. Vroonland draws on the manners and customs of how we use a chair, transforming it into a coat hanger seat. What Vroonland intrigues is that technology, craftsmanship, storytelling and the actual physical contact all comes together in this one design: a chair."
